BYD's Fang Cheng Bao Marks 600,000 Vehicles, Flagship 'Titan 9' SUV Nears Launch

BYD's premium off-road brand Fang Cheng Bao is entering the final countdown for the launch of its new flagship SUV, the Titan 9 (钛9), according to BYD Executive Vice President He Zhiqi. The brand recently celebrated surpassing 600,000 cumulative vehicle sales in just three years of operation.

Six hundred thousand and counting

Fang Cheng Bao reached a 600,000-vehicle milestone three years after its founding, and has held a steady monthly sales pace of around 40,000 units for three consecutive months. The steady volume underscores strong demand for the brand's rugged, tech-forward offerings.

Flagship Titan 9

The Titan 9 is positioned as a technology-luxury flagship SUV, and is expected to officially launch in the fourth quarter. While detailed specs have yet to be fully disclosed, the model is set to extend Fang Cheng Bao's lineup further upmarket with advanced off-road and intelligent driving technologies.
