BYD has unveiled the 2026 Atto 8 EV, its new seven-seat flagship electric SUV, featuring a 115 kWh battery and an up to 653 km range.
Powertrain and range
The rear-wheel-drive version delivers 462 bhp with a 653 km range, while the all-wheel-drive variant offers 775 bhp and a 602 km range. Both support BYD's Flash Charging, taking the battery from 10 to 97 percent in about nine minutes.
Premium seven-seat cabin
The Atto 8 includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen, seven seats, LiDAR-based assisted driving, and premium leather trim, positioning it as a direct rival to models like the Kia EV9 in the large electric SUV segment.
